What is Mile Road Rewards?
Mile Road Rewards is a program created by the owners of Billy's Chowder House, Varano's Italian Restaurant and Wells Beach Steakhouse all on the Mile Road in Wells Maine. The program gives you points for each dollar spent in any of the three restaurants. One dollar equals one point. The more you frequent our restaurants the more points and rewards you receive. Points are given on total bill before tax and gratuity but after all discounts.
How do I sign up?
It is real simple, come in and dine at any of the three locations on Mile Road and fill out an application. We will ask for name, address (so we can snail mail you offers), e-mail (so we can communicate weekly), Birthday (so we can send you a birthday offer), and Anniversary (to send an anniversary offer). All of this information gets put into the computer and the paper you filled out gets ground immediately (because we care about your privacy). Once you sign up you receive your Gold card (only the best for our customers) immediately and your first offer will come to you within 3 weeks.
How do I receive points?
Each time you dine with us (preferably daily) give your rewards card to your server and they will put your points on your account.
Do I need to bring my rewards card to receive points?
Yes, points are awarded by swiping your card at the terminal. With over 15000 members we cannot look up your account information, it wouldn't be fair to the manager on duty.
How do I know how many points I have?
You may look up your points at any time by logging onto the Mile Roads Rewards website at
Will the points show up immediately?
No. The company we use to handle our rewards downloads all information for the day at 3:00 a.m. the following morning. So you must give the system time to download.
How many points do I need to get a reward?
We have changed this to better serve you. You now need 300 points and you will receive a $15.00 reward certificate. But don't forget, points from all three restaurants are added together. So you can earn points faster.
Do my points ever expire?
No. Your points never expire they will stay with you always until you earn 300 points and receive a $15.00 certificate.
What if I go away for the winter? Will they still send my certificates?
If you go away for the winter, before you leave you can go into your account and put yourself on mail hold. When you return take yourself off and any accumulated reward certificates will then be mailed to you.
Can you extend the expiration date on my certificates?
We can't extend any dates on certificates that you receive. The award certificates are good for 180 days. After that time the promo code for your certificate is no longer in the system and the computer will not recognize the promo code.
What if I forgot my rewards card will I still get my points?
Like all of your other important cards you should never leave home without your rewards card. You just never know when the urge to eat on Mile Road will overtake you. But, if you just happen to find your self on Mile Road and your card is not on you, The manager on duty will sign your receipt and the next time you come in to any of our restaurants with your card just give the signed receipt to the manager on duty and he will put the points on your account.
Can I use my Birthday or Anniversary coupon without my rewards card?
We can see how excited you would get from receiving a postcard with not one, not two, but three Birthday or Anniversary offers. So in the rare instance you call your family together to celebrate with you and you happen to leave your card at home (it could happen in all your excitement). As long as you have a valid picture I.D., and your name matches the name on the postcard you will be able to use your $15.00 off coupon. But to get your points the manager will have to sign your receipt and the next time you are around bring in your card and receipt and you will receive all your points.
Can I use my reward certificate and my Birthday or Anniversary coupon at the same time?
No, You cannot combine any kind of offer.
What if my card wears out?
If your reward card will no longer swipe at the terminals, we will gladly exchange your old worn out card for a brand spanking new one.
What if I lose my reward card?
If you have looked everywhere and you still can't find your rewards card we will gladly send you a new one(with the same number) directly to your home. We must charge a $5.00 fee for the makeup of a new card and also the postage to send it to you.
What is Mile Road Rewards Definition of an Entree?
We understand the Webster Dictionary definition of an entree but we here at Mile Road Rewards like to be just a little different from everyone else. First so there's no confusion, we are talking food here not drink. We understand that there are those that love our soups and chowders and consider them a meal, however, they are excluded. For those of you with smaller appetites we do have smaller portions. Rather than list all the items you can eat we will list the four (4) exclusions: Appetizers, Soups & Chowders, Salad without protein, and Desserts. Don't get hung up on the few things you can't have come in and enjoy the things you can have.
